Tax Accountants Wanted

If you’re at a place in your career where no further professional growth or advancement at your current firm is possible, we’re hiring a at least two experienced tax accountants to join our team and help manage our expanding business.
Let’s face it, most accountants at larger firms don’t make partner. That’s just the nature of CPA firms. You may work the same 70-80 hour weeks during tax time, but maybe you just don’t want to be a ‘cog in a big wheel’ anymore. But I'm at least going to INVITE you to do something different.
We’re a specialized CPA firm that provides focused tax credit, income tax, accounting, and advisory services for business owners and higher-income individuals.
Our clients are primarily in real estate, small business owners, and medical professionals such as doctors and dentists.
Our client base is growing rapidly, and we need some help as we grow!
It’s a good problem to have, yet we need another experienced CPA or Enrolled Agent or two.
We need someone who can analyze a client’s books and transactions, formulate tax-planning strategies, and figure out how they can minimize their tax liability. The accountants we’re looking for will need substantial experience preparing individual (1040) and business (1120, 1120S, 1065) Federal, State, and Ohio City tax returns, and will need direct client interaction experience. This is for regular, recurring, annual client filings.
We have six licensed tax professionals, and an excellent administrative and bookkeeping staff split between, so while no one will confuse us for a Big-4 firm, we’re a long way from a solo-practitioner shop.
One of our founders is retiring, though, and that is going to leave a gap in skill, knowledge and customer rapport that we have to try to fill! We are serious about finding the RIGHT PEOPLE for our company.
Client service is our absolute #1 priority, so we are looking for client-oriented, outgoing individuals. We go “over-and-above” and making our clients happy is our goal.
We have 401(k), health insurance, holiday pay, paid vacation, profit sharing, free coffee, no downtown parking, etc. Salary will depend on the right fit, experience, and qualifications – and we are not afraid to ‘open our checkbook’ to find the right people to join our team!
We DO NOT work 70-80 hour weeks during tax season (or EVER), and are very much a family-friendly business.
